Philippine Army Recruitment 2019… The Philippine Army is the main, oldest and largest branch of the Philippines Armed Forces which is tasked engaging in ground warfare.

Mission.

Today the functions of the Philippine Army are:

  • Organize, train and equip Army forces for the conduct of prompt and sustained combat operations on land;
  • Prepare such units as is also necessary for the effective prosecution of national defense plans and programs and militia mission, as well as the enlargement of the period Army part to fulfill any emergency;

Joining the Philippine Army.

Second Lieutenants

Are you a reserve 2nd Lieutenant within the Philippine Army? Then you
may apply for (OPC) Officer preceding Course. It’s a six months
course with you being commissioned as 2nd lieutenant within the
regular force.

The majority reserved 2d lieutenants within the
Philippine Army are ROTC advance graduates and commissioned as
2nd lieutenant within the reserve force. The Qualifications for
(OPC) is nearly constant because the (OCC) except that below (OPC),
you must not be thirty-three.

For Students

Application Requirements for 2018/2019 Philippine Army Recruitment for Officer Candidate Course (OCC)

  1. Holder of a baccalaureate degree;
  2. Natural-born Filipino
  3. 21 to 29 years of age upon admission (no age waiver);
  4. Single and never been married; never borne or sired a child;
  5. Height of not less than 5’0 ft. (152.4cm) both for male and female, but not more than 6’4” (193.04 cm);
  6. Of good moral character;
  7. Physically, mentally and psychologically fit for active military service (P1 profile);
  8. Armed Forces of the Philippines Service Aptitude Test(AFPSAT) raw score of 71 or higher;
  9. Must have passed other pre-entry written examinations given by the Philippine Army (Army Qualifying Exam (AQE) & Special Written Exam (SWE)); and
  10. Must pass the Physical Medical Exam and Physical Fitness Test conducted in the Philippine Army thru PAOSC

Requirements for Officer Candidates that will undergo the Officer Preparatory Course (OPC),

  • Commissioned in the Reserve Force as second lieutenant
  • Must not be over 31 years old on the date of Called to Active Duty (CAD);
  • Physically, from zainfo.co.za, mentally and psychologically fit for active military service (P1 profile);
  • Holder of a baccalaureate degree;
  • Height of not less than 5’0 ft. (152.4cm) both for male and female, but not more than 6’4” (193.04 cm);
  • Of good moral character;
  • AFPSAT raw score of 71 or higher;
  • Must have passed other pre-entry written examinations given by the Philippine Army (AQE & SWE); and
  • Must pass the PME and PFT conducted in the PA thru PAOSC
